use a post hole digger make’s just the right size hole go down 2 ft. get a bag of Post cement you just dump it in hole then add water no mixing set’s up in 1 hour put some rocks on the bottom after you cement in make sure it is level
Assuming that post is metal and about 4 inches in diameter. Dig hole about 15 inches in diameter about 20 inches deep. Place about 4 inches of stone in bottom. Place post on top of stone and fill hole with concrete.
